The Garden Tomb, Jerusalem

The Garden Tomb, Jerusalem

The October 2015 Study Tour of Israel begins on Monday, October 26th.  This will be a group of 24, from all areas of the country.  Part of the group will be from the Solid Rock School of Discipleship from Minnesota.

The tour heads south first, covering the regions of the Shephelah and Negev.  We concentrate first on Old Testament sites.  We even stay in the Judean Desert one night (at Hanokim).

Next, we explore the sites in the region of the Wilderness before heading back to the Med coastline and the Coastal Plain. The regions of Carmel Range, Jezreel Valley, and the Galilee will include both Old and New Testament sites.  One day we will explore the northern area of Israel (the Golan Heights) where we will peak into both Syria and Lebanon.  We will spend 4 nights in the Galilee, with one “day of reflection” as we focus on the Sermon on the Mount.

After driving through the Samaritan Hill Country, we end the tour in Jerusalem.  We spend the rest of the trip exploring the many sites and and around Israel’s capital.

Despite the recent issues the Israelis have been facing, we are expecting no safety issues for us.  Our agency (imagine Tours & Travelpresently have groups in Israel, and all is going well for them.

The web site (www.biblicalisraeltours.com) will be updated every night, allowing family and friends to follow our daily encounters with the land of the Bible.  Each update will be posted approximately 3-4 p.m. EST.

If you are interested in traveling with us in 2016, all trips are open.  I will be leading Israel tours in January, March, April, May, June, Sept-October, October-November, and perhaps December.  I am scheduled to lead a Greece tour in February. I welcome you to join us!
