Turkey and end times

The role of Turkey in End Times??

It is very difficult to determine what’s going on in the Middle East. There are so “players” in the game (e.g. Syria, Russia, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel Iran, Iraq, ISIS, etc…). For sure, it’s so hard to make sense of any of this.

One man who I believe does have a solid handle on what’s happening in the region is Walid Shoebat. Walid is an ex-Palestinian terrorist who became a born-again Christian. He knows Islamic theology firsthand because he grew up with it. Now having renounced Islam, he offers some very interesting thoughts on Turkey, specifically in light of what’s taking place now in cities like Aleppo (Syria) and Mosul (Iraq). In fact, right or wrong, he equates Erdogan (Turkey’s President) as a leading candidate for being the Anti-Christ. He believes that the “12th Imman” (the Islamic coming “Messiah”) will be one in the same as the Anti-Christ of the Bible.  What Erdogan is envisioning is taking a leading role in the reestablishment of the Ottoman Empire and the Caliphate. I personally think it’s a very interesting concept and worthy of consideration.

Here is a recent article, reproduced with permission, by Mr. Shoebat. I hope it brings at minimum some clarity about what’s going on in the region today. But I also hope it causes you to analyze and study further the doctrine of End Times (eschatology) in light of God’s Word. I continue to do the same. Whatever your view of the End Times may be, one thing is for sure…our great, awesome, and sovereign God has the final word!

Hitler Erdogan Prepares For The Battle To Invade Mosul While Threatening Iraq. So Who Will Be The Victor In This War And What Is The End Game In Iraq  (By Walid Shoebat)

“You are not my interlocutor, you are not at my level, you are not my equivalent, you are not of the same quality as me, your screaming and shouting in Iraq is of no importance to us.”

These were the pompous words Erdogan told Iraq’s al-Abadi, who was upset at the Turkish military presence on Iraq’s territory wanting a piece of the action in the coming battle for Mosul.

Al-Abadi knows that what ISIS took, now Erdogan of Turkey is taking.

Erdogan is taking the issue to claim, he was insulted in order to make excuse for his incursions into Iraq: “The Iraqi prime minister is insulting me, first know your limits,” he told a gathering of Islamic leaders in Istanbul, according to AP.

Turkey had initiated its impasse into Iraq since last December, when it deployed troops to the region of Bashiqa, northeast of Mosul claiming its goal is to remove ISIS. Baghdad called the deployment a “blatant violation” of Iraq’s sovereignty and demanded that the Turkish troops be withdrawn immediately, but Ankara has consistently ignored the request.

“Turkey does not move on orders from others … Turkey’s presence in the Bashiqa camp will remain until Mosul is rid of ISIS,” Numan Kurtulmus, Turkey’s deputy prime minister, told state news agency Anadolu on Tuesday.

Turkey’s invasion of Jarablus in Syria also continues to expand for the major battle for Aleppo, while the world takes note but fails to act.

The US wants Mosul to be liberated in this period as ‘good for morale’ just before the elections to affect the outcome for Hillary. This, the current administration wants done by Turkey under the cover of it being a NATO ally.

So except the battles to commence very soon, in both Iraq and Syria, regardless, so that the current administration takes credit.

With the battle for Mosul about to begin, the US has once again ‘called’ upon Turkey to respect Iraqi sovereignty while it looks the other way.

“All of Iraq’s neighbors need to respect Iraqi sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Turkish forces that are deployed in Iraq are not there as part of the International Coalition. The situation in Bashiqa is the matter for the governments of Iraq and Turkey to resolve,” State Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Wednesday.

Pay attention only to this: “The situation in Bashiqa is the matter for the governments of Iraq and Turkey to resolve”. The U.S., in front of cameras, is urging the two leaders to set aside their differences and focus on the battle against ISISIn other words, we will not interfere between Iraq and Turkey so long the outcome is in U.S. favor for ‘media’ consumption.

Erdogan has the green light. Two Pentagon officials even said privately that they didn’t believe the diplomatic rift would delay the Mosul operation, which is expected to kick off in a week or so.

“All military operations have political complications, and this one is no different,” said one senior defense official. “All of these problems are ones we are working through, and there’s no indication any of this will interrupt our plans for Mosul.”

Turkey Backing ISIS for ‘Neo-Ottoman’ foreign policy

President Erdogan is extending a zone from Aleppo to Mosul. His dream is to encompass northern Iraq into his neo-Ottoman dream.

Biblical scholars need to think: how else can one man be called “King of Babylon” “the Assyrian” and “chief prince of Meshechand Tubal” if he does not encompass these regions in the Levant?

Mosul is the largest city under Islamic State control. The city’s importance has touched off a rivalry between Iraq’s disparate fighting forces. Therefore, the Kurdish and Shiite fighters are jockeying for a role in what is considered the last major battle to expand their political influence. However, the Kurds and Iran will fail since Turkey, the powerful dog in the region, will not allow their plan to succeed.

And we see Turkey’s expansionist agenda already. If Turkey’s intent was simply thwart the Kurds, as Erdogan claims, why then is Turkey expanding its military presence outside the Kurdish areas near Mosul?

Six years ago, the US and its NATO allies, carried out a regime-change operation under the excuse of removing dictators in several nations like Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Syria. Combined with media propaganda campaigns and economic sanctions intended by the Washington-led powers, the idea was to erode Russia’s sphere of influence. Instead they created a vacuum that is being filled by an Ottoman expansion. So under the guise of removing dictatorships, the effort undermined the sovereign rights of secular states by NATO choosing to support Islamist revolutionaries.

As a result, ISIS was formed, carving swaths of territory to be supported by another ruthless dictator, the rising Hitler of the Mediterranean region, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Then Turkey with its Ottoman aspirations had its eyes on Syria and working with NATO allies began the process of destabilization in Syria. Russia being an ally of Syria jumped in to defend Bashar Al-Assad while  NATO, especially Turkey are moving in to protect their interests. And to do so, they all found the best alibi: THE WAR ON ISIS.

THE END GAME IN IRAQ
But few are paying attention, that each is returning to their previous colonial regions. Turkey is simply returning to its Ottoman colonial region to re-develop a new relationship model with Arabs, Kurds, Iran or whoever else is in the region. President Vladimir Putin’s Russia is in reality Tsarist Russia wanting his previous imperial map turned to the Ukraine and south Caucasus and it too is aggressively intervening in the Mediterranean and the Middle East through Syria. Iran too is different compared to the 1979 revolution. Today we see a new Persian expansion from Yemen to Lebanon and lastly to Syria. The two rising powers of what used to be Greece (The Leopard) and Persia (The bear) in Revelation 13 will in few years come out of the “Great Sea” (Daniel 7:2) which is the Mediterranean sea (region).

And to rebuild its relations with the Kurds of Iraq, Turkey has officially entered Iraq and is currently working through the Nujaifis and the Barzanis in establishing its own sphere of influence in northern Iraq. The Nujaifis are led by Osama Abdul Aziz al-Nujaifi who is initiating a new pro-Turkey Sunni party separate from the the pro-Iran Shiite government. Turkey is also using the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) which  maintains close economic ties with Turkey. So by that Turkey has an entry point into northern Iraq to carve a Sunni-stan, to stop what they fear as the rising Russian-Iranian-Syrian axis.

The Kurds in Iraq (who are allying with Turkey) will not remain a western ally. The Kurds and the Turks will always use Western democracy for a ride until this vehicle takes them to the next stop: Islamic tyranny.

And while the U.S. believes that Russia is the mother of regional problems, can anyone explain, why would God calls the warriors of Gog “fatlings of Bashan” if Gog was indeed Russian? Even in the very prophecies about the Messiah, they all parallel when the Muslim armies surround Jerusalem: “Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me” (Psalm 22:12). Bashan points to either Syria or Bashan in the Caucasus in the southern regions of Russia, or even both, but never Russia proper. These are Syria and the C.I.S. region. And in Isaiah 17 we find the destruction of Damascus and not da-Moscow.

So what we will see soon are military conflicts that will later require ‘peaceful resolutions’ and ‘negotiations’ of course, with the strongest taking the lion’s share.

What many are asking is what is the end-game. Here it is. The first issue is who is the strongest lion? On the one hand, we have Turkey terrified that the ‘alliance’ fighting ISIS is uniting Iran, Iraqi Shiites and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), as well as Hezbollah, with Russia. But Turkey and Iran cannot afford warring over Iraq or Syria, since Iran cannot afford loosing its relationship with Turkey. Turkey and Iran have a common interest in preventing an independent Kurdish nation. The more the United States supports the Iraqi Kurds, there will be a greater danger of an Iranian-Turkish alliance, which is what we project will happen. And how Turkey will rid Russia is simple, in northern Iraq or in Syria, any ‘liberated’ territory will have Sunnis elect a puppet regime that will be Sunni, of course. This is the norm. And these puppets will be allied to Sunni Turkey. So by that, Russia cannot legally intervene, since the people will demand their own Sunni sovereignty, where in the end, Turkey will be the victor. It is really as simple as when the southern parts of Iraq went democratic after the U.S. ousted Saddam Hussein and the Shiites elected a Shiite allied to Iran. So northern Iraq, the oil rich part of Iraq, will eventually become Turkey’s lion share.
