Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours (BIMT) is a non-profit ministry dedicated to teaching the Bible in the context of the land of Israel. The founder and Director of BIMT is Rev. Dr. John DeLancey. To date he has led 72 Israel study tours, 10 Greece Tours, plus numerous trips to Jordan and Egypt as well.

The YouTube Channel offers new teaching on various stories of the Bible. In addition to older videos from previous trips, Dr. DeLancey shares Keynote/Power Point presentations that highlight the context and background of many biblical narratives. Beginning soon will be on-site teachings, with video clips from the land of Israel. This will include some of his latest drone videos of biblical sites. Sites and lessons from both the Old and New Testaments are featured.

During this “no-travel” time, BIMT has been working on a number of new projects in addition to developing the YouTube Channel. These include the following:

 

DRONE VIDEO PROJECT:

 
We are now in the final stages of editing our master drone video. There is nothing quite like this resource. We compiled drone video footage of about 55 biblical sites in Israel (and some from Jordan). Look for the project sometime in late July or August. We plan to offer this resource in DVD and thumb drive format, as well as an on-line download.
 
 

“CONNECTING THE DOTS”

 
Another book is now through its first draft. The tedious editing process has now started. This is a book that will feature 50 biblical stories. 25 from the OT, and 25 from the NT. Each story is connected to its context through archaeology, history, geography, and customs & culture. Ultimately, it is a book that will offer many life lessons of how we can connect to God and grow in our faith walk with Christ.
