The week of teaching in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is now over. It was a great trip, with wonderful students studying at the International Theological College & Seminary (ITCS). While is was hot and muggy (90-95 each day), it was a great experience and wonderful opportunity to teach the Physical Settings of the Bible to these eager-to-learn students!
Thanks for your prayer and financial support to make this happen!
“Going to ITCS was a great experience. The students were wonderful and eager to learn. Dr. Ezra, Founder and Director of ITCS, was a wonderful host. Lives are being changed there in Cambodia!”
The Week’s Experiences
The week included many cultural experiences like the following:
A visit to one of the Killing Fields (one of 300) where over 2 million Cambodians were killed in the mid 1970s.
A visit to downtown Phnom Penh. We visited the river side and a Buddhist temple.
Many interesting sites, sounds, and smells while running in the neighborhood of the school.
We traveled to the countryside to visit one of the few churches established there.
The traffic in Phnom Penh is absolutely crazy! Many scooters and motor bikes weave in and out of the lanes (what lanes?).
All of these scenes can be seen in the 27 minute video below!
Thanks again for your prayer and financial support to enable me to travel to Cambodia.
