Welcome to the third video page. This page is dedicated to the on-site videos produced by Dr. John DeLancey, Director of BIMT. These videos are arranged according to the regions of the land of Israel. While some of the videos features specific teaching, other videos do not have commentary. Videos from other lands of the Bible (Jordan, Egypt) are also included.
Some of these videos are older than others, yet new videos (including more drone videos) are being produced on a regular basis. Direct links to these videos can be found on both our Vimeo as well as YouTube web pages. We hope you enjoy and learn from these videos from various regions and sites in Israel and other lands of the Bible!

Carmel Range/Jezreel Valley:
The regions of the Carmel Range and the Jezreel Valley are located northeast of the Sharon Plain. The Carmel is about a 13 miles range and rises about 1,500 in elevation. The Jezreel Valley is Israel’s broadest valley. On the edge and/or within the valley are primary sites such as Megiddo, Jezreel, Mt. Gilboa, the Hill of Moreh, and Mt. Tabor.

Lower Galilee:
The Lower Galilee begins essentially with the Nazareth Ridge and extends to the Sea of Galilee. It was in this region where Jesus grew up. Many Jewish communities were scattered within this region in the days of Jesus.

Sea of Galilee (1):
The Sea of Galilee sits at almost 700 feet below sea level. It is located only a little over than 30 miles south of the Lebanon border. This region served as the primary teaching area for Jesus. Many small villages were located around or near its shoreline (e.g. Capernaum, Tiberias, Magdala, Bethsaida, Chorazin). The videos from this region include:

Sea of Galilee (2):
The Sea of Galilee sits at almost 700 feet below sea level. It is located only a little over than 30 miles south of the Lebanon border. This region served as the primary teaching area for Jesus. Golan Heights / Northern Israel:
The Golan Heights sits is a region on the east side of the Sea of Galilee. It extends from the southern end of the lake 38 miles to the north towards Mt. Hermon (Israel’s highest mountain, 7,300 feet!) In the north, the region borders the country of Syria. This region serves as a very strategic area for modern Israel.
