This is our most extensive Israel-Jordan combined tours. This trip features about 55 sites! First, we head north through the Coastal and Sharon Plains, Mt. Carmel, and the Jezreel Valley to the Galilee. Here we spend 3 nights in this northern region of Israel. This was the area for the home ministry base of Jesus. We then cross into Jordan at the northern crossing (Shiek) to visit the massive site of Jerash. Then we see Mt. Nebo and Machaerus (where John the Baptist was beheaded). We stay that first night in Medeba. Then the next morning we drive to Petra, the highlight experience here in Jordan. We have most of the day here! We re-cross the following day at the Red Sea back into southern Israel. We then drive north through the Judean Desert on our way to Jerusalem. We save the very best to last.
The whole trip will connect you with the Bible in many life-changing ways! This is a trip that takes you to “off-the-beaten-path” biblical sites as well as engages you in the many stories of the Old and New Testament. Following in the footsteps of Jesus will be eye-opening and heart-warming!
