“Life of Paul in Context” (LPC) Seminar
COMING in the FALL of 2026!
Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours (BIMT) is a full-fledged evangelical ministry that not only offers rock-solid biblical Christian tours to Israel, but we also teach in-depth biblical studies seminars to churches and schools alike. This not only includes seminars set within the context of the land of Israel (i.e. like our “Bringing the Bible to Life” and “Life of Christ in Context” seminars), but also in the world of the New Testament! This page is dedicated to our new teaching seminar that will be ready in the fall of 2026, “Life of Paul in Context (LPC)!”
Like the other two seminars, this new LPC seminar will include about 8 hours of teaching material offered by Dr. John DeLancey (although churches can request a condensed version). This seminar will feature Paul’s Mission Journeys, the “physical settings” of Greece, Turkey, and Rome, the Greek/Roman world context, and of course a look at his letters of the churches. Once again, this seminar is entirely pictorial, and is meant to engage the audience through photos, aerial footage, 360 videos, and reconstructed models of cities. Dr. John, who has visited every site in Paul’s NT world personally, brings an exciting in-depth teaching to churches and schools around the country!
There is so much context to learn that serves as a backdrop to Paul’s ministry. This seminar brings together the geographical, the archaeological, and the cultural elements of Paul’s world in an exciting and enlightening way!
Dr. John DeLancey, Director of Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours, is the teacher for this seminar.
What’s Included in a “Life of Paul in Context” (LPC) Seminar?
Churches will have the choice to have up to 7.5 – 8 hours of teaching by Dr. John. We suggest the following weekend format be followed: Friday night: 6:30 – 9 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 – 3:00 p.m. In addition to Dr. John’s preaching (if desired) on Sunday, a set of teaching could also take place on Sunday afternoon or evening.
Lastly, an alternative format could be a Sunday – Tuesday format (e.g. Sunday afternoon-evening, Monday and Tuesday evenings). We are open to adjusting the BBL seminar to your church schedule! The bottom line is this: We are happy to accommodate to your church schedule!

- SESSION 4: Paul’s First Journey
- SESSION 5: Paul’s Second Journey
- SESSION 6: Paul’s Third Journey
- SESSION 7: Paul’s Journey to Rome
- SESSION 8: In Paul’s Words
What is discovered in this LPC seminar is an entirely new and eye-opening understanding of the Apostle Paul, a servant of the Gospel of Christ!
Other Details
Cost to Churches
Because we want to bring through our LPC seminar the ministry of Paul and the world of the New Testament to as many churches as possible, we do not have a set speaking fee for Dr. John. Part of his ministry for BIMT is to teach at local churches (and schools) around the country! So we rather offer our LPC seminar on a free-will offering basis.
Hosting churches are also responsible for covering the travel expenses for Dr. DeLancey (e.g. airfare, mileage). To save on the expense of a hotel, Dr. DeLancey is also very happy to stay in the home of a church member. Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours would be delighted and honored to come to your church and offer this teaching! We strongly feel called to serve the local church and to bring this unique and life-changing teaching!
How to Reserve a LPC for Your Church
To reserve a LPC seminar for your church or school, please complete the form below (however for now it is labeled BBL, not LPC). A $200 deposit is required to secure and hold your weekend (note: this deposit can go towards the travel expense). Checks should be made payable to Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours and be sent to our new office at Box 220 Sugar Grove, PA 16350.
