Podcast Ministry

Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours (BIMT) now has a “Video-Podcast” as well as our continuing audio-only podcast teaching ministry, and it’s all about bringing context to the Bible! This podcast ministry is called, “Light in the Land.” Dr. John uses “physical settings” of the land of Israel to unfold stories from both the Old and New Testaments! The role of archaeology, historical-geography, topography, customs and culture, and the Hebraic background of Jesus (for NT passages) all help bring context to the story!

For the Video-Podast, links to our Youtube Page are listed below. For the audio-only podcast, simply search for “Light in the Land” on your favorite podcast platform (Apple, Spotify, iHeart, and Podbean). As each program airs, you can also listen in through any of these podcast platform. Or like the video-podcast link, there are links to the audio-only podcast program as well.

Note: In 2026, both video-podcasts and audio-podcasts will be produced and shared about once/week. Due to Dr. John’s travel schedule, podcasts will not be shared while he is leading trips.
