After an abundant breakfast buffet, we’ll journey north along the coast to Caesarea, the magnificent harbor city built by King Herod. Walking through the ancient theater and Crusader city, we’ll marvel at the aqueduct that played a vital role in the region’s infrastructure, even appearing in the book of Acts. From there, we ascend Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18), the site of Elijah’s dramatic confrontation with the prophets of Baal. Continuing to Megiddo (Armageddon; 1 Kings 9:15; Rev. 16:16), we’ll explore the ruins of this once-great city. Across the Jezreel Valley, we reach the precipice of Nazareth (Luke 1 and 4), offering breathtaking views and connections to Jesus’ early life. Passing through the traditional Cana (John 2), we arrive at our kibbutz-hotel along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. After dinner, we’ll gather for an evening of fellowship and worship.

We arrive back in the U.S.A., complete customs formalities, and board our connecting flights home, filled with unforgettable memories of our journey through the land of the Bible.

Hike Up Arbel
One of our optional hikes is to the top of Mt. Arbel. Located on the NW corner of the Sea of Galilee, the hike offers a wonderful view of the region. We ascend 800 feet to the top (for those not inclined to hike the bus takes people to the top from the other side).
The cliffs of Arbel has historical significance too. Jews during both the 1st century BC and later in 66 AD found refuge in these caves.
