Dig It! Biblical Archaeology – An Online Course
Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours (BIMT) is excited to announce the launching of an online course by our partnering ministry called The Institute of Biblical Israel. We are now three days away from the launch date of August 1st for our second on-line course called “Dig It! Biblical Archaeology.” Taught by Dr. John DeLancey, this course will connect you to the biblical – archaeological world of Israel!
Dr. John serves as the director of BIMT and the primary instructor at The Institute. He is a former one-year archaeology student in Israel, has led 72 Israel trips, and has excavated at six archaeological sites in Israel. He brings a wealth of information to the course.
Details about the course:
- This in-depth biblical archaeology course will consist of 20 sessions and 14 hours of solid teaching!
 - The course covers the history, principles, terminology, and methodology of archaeology in Israel as well as the archaeology of 25 specific Biblical sites. This includes four sessions on Jerusalem alone, as well as two sessions at the famous Israel Museum. The material is quite extensive!
 - Each lecture includes some of our drone and aerial photography as well detailed illustrations and on-site photos of the ancient cites featured.
 - If you like to use this course (or our Physical Settings of the Bible course for that matter) for your small group Bible study group, permission is granted for this purpose.
 -
Please know that this is a course designed for you to view in your own time. There are no set “class times.” You simply following one session after another on your own and at your own pace. It’s ideal for people who busy schedules! Our first course, Physical Settings of the Bible, is set up the same way!
 - The cost of the course has been reduced from the regular price of $229 to only $129. We want to make the course affordable to as many as possible!
 - An additional discount of $50 (making the course only $79) applies to anyone who has traveled with BIMT before or is scheduled to travel with us on a future trip. Before you register for the course, simply email DrJohn@biblicalisraeltours.com for the special discount code that you will enter at check-out. You can safely pay for the course with PayPal or credit card (through Stripe). We are also offering a discounted price of $59 to pastors and church staff as well.
 - You can watch the five-minute Preview video for free (below).
 - Dr. John Delancey is the course instructor for the entire course. He has worked hard over the last 6 months to complete this project. 🙂 The goal is not to flavor the lectures with “academic classroom jargon” but rather to share as many “down-to-earth” (no pun intended) biblical connections to the world of archaeology as possible. Our desire is for the Bible to come alive for you through the archaeology world!
 - Additional supplemental sessions will be added (in time) since new discoveries in Israel are constantly being made!
 - A Certificate of Accomplishment is offered to those who complete the course.
